Niklas Braun CEO Automotive 
On 1 April 2011 Graduate Engineer Mr. Niklas Braun (36) will take over the management of the Strategic Business Division Automotive. So far, this function had been assumed by the CEO of the REHAU Group Mr. Rainer Schulz in dual role.
Niklas Braun has been employed by the privately-held polymer specialist since 2002. He held various management positions in Production, Supervisory Board Staff, Research/Development and Technology and Innovation Management. As head of Production/Technology Mr. Braun was deployed in USA as a member of the REHAU North America Executive Board for a period of two years. He was appointed to the worldwide responsible Automotive Executive Board at the beginning of 2009. Also in his role as CEO, Mr. Braun will continue to be responsible for development and research within the Automotive Division.
Mr Braun’s deputy will be Graduate Businessman Markus Grundmann (39). Mr. Grundmann joined REHAU in 1998, was appointed head of the Automotive Division in 2002 and Executive Director Automotive and member of the REHAU Executive Board, Central Europe, at the beginning of 2007. As a member of the Automotive Executive Board he has been in charge of Marketing/Sales since the beginning of 2009. Alongside Messrs. Braun and Grundmann, Helmut Ansorge, Reiner Leifhelm and Gerhard Riedhammer are also members of this management committee.
The REHAU Group with its CEO Rainer Schulz is convinced to have found an internal successor regulation which ensures the lasting and long-term continuity of the Automotive management and thus the success of this important business division.
Besides its competency as development partner to the automotive industry, the company with more than 15,000 employees established itself in the construction and industry sectors worldwide. In 2010 its turnover amounted to about two billions of Euros.
